The unexpected loss of my soul dog, Jackson, at the age of 15 shattered my heart. His passing left me in a deep state of disenfranchised grief—grief that felt invisible to the world but all-consuming to me. That loss changed everything. It led me here, to this calling: to walk alongside others who are facing the heartbreak of saying goodbye to a beloved animal companion.

For years, I’ve supported families and their pets through Allegiant Dog Walking, my professional pet care business. My journey has also included training as a Professional Dog Trainer, teaching Pet CPR & First Aid, serving as an Animal Control Officer, and working in veterinary hospitals and pet retail. Each role has deepened my understanding of the powerful bond between people and their pets.

I know—personally and profoundly—how devastating that bond’s end can be. That’s why I became a Certified End-of-Life Pet Doula (also known as a Pet Death Doula). I provide non-medical, heart-centered support to pet guardians during one of the most difficult times they will ever face. Through emotional, spiritual, and practical guidance, I help families prepare for and move through the loss of their cherished companions with tenderness and intention.

While I don’t provide veterinary care, I collaborate with your veterinary team to support you in the ways they often can’t—by holding space for your grief, helping create a meaningful farewell, and offering steady presence when everything feels uncertain.

This is sacred work. It’s heart work. And it is my deepest honor to walk this path with you.
